Free Plush Sample Support for Qualified Projects

Evaluate character accuracy, materials and construction before committing to bulk production. Ewin Toys helps qualified buyers reduce early development risk by offering sample fee support based on project scope and order plan, so key product decisions can be confirmed before mass production.

Up to 3 Sample Revisions | 5–7 Working Day Standard Sample Planning | Sample Fee Waiver for Qualified Orders | Material & Color Confirmation | Pre-Production Approval

Use the Sample to Reduce Production Risk

A useful sample should answer important manufacturing questions before materials, approvals, packaging, and production quantities become expensive to change.

Validate the Design

Check character proportion, face, silhouette, pose, size, structure, clothing, and signature details on a real soft product. Visual problems are easier to correct during development than after bulk materials and production schedules are committed.

Validate the Materials

Confirm fabric pile, color, handfeel, embroidery, printing, trims, filling, hardware, and accessories on the actual product. A loose swatch cannot show how materials behave after sewing, stuffing, shaping, and assembly.

Validate the Factory

Use the sample to assess communication, engineering judgment, revision discipline, workmanship, material control, and whether Ewin can convert approval into production-ready files instead of relying on one sample maker’s memory.

Free Sample Support Uses Clear Commercial Routes

The support model is confirmed before pattern work begins so development cost, responsibilities, exclusions, and possible production credits are understood from the start.

Qualified Sample Support

Selected commercial projects may receive agreed sample-development support after feasibility and program review. Eligibility is based on project quality, production potential, complexity, and strategic fit rather than one automatic quantity threshold.
  • Best fit: defined products with real manufacturing intent.
  • Scope: confirmed in writing before work starts.
  • Boundary: support is not an unlimited redesign program.

Bulk Order Credit

Some projects begin with a normal sample or development charge so engineering and material work can start without ambiguity. When agreed bulk-order conditions are later reached, part or all of the approved sample fee may be credited toward production.
  • Credit terms follow the approved commercial agreement.
  • The approach keeps development work accountable.
  • It can reduce supplier-evaluation cost when the project proceeds.

No-Charge Remake

If an agreed sample contains a clear manufacturing error caused by Ewin, the priority is to correct the work and remake the affected sample for the same agreed requirement without charging again for the same responsibility.
  • Manufacturing error is separated from a new design request.
  • Revision records show what was agreed.
  • Scope changes after approval remain new development work.

Separate Project Costs

Free sample support does not automatically include custom molds, dedicated fixtures, electronic housings, unusual component setup, external laboratory testing, special tooling, or international express freight. These items are reviewed separately because cost depends on the final design.
  • Non-recurring costs are identified before commitment.
  • Testing route is tied to market and product configuration.
  • Special development is quoted transparently.

Projects Most Likely to Qualify for Sample Support

Eligibility reflects whether the sample can meaningfully evaluate a real manufacturing program, not whether someone simply wants a free custom plush item.

02-1 Ewin toys Character Plush

Clear Product Direction

Artwork, a character sheet, 3D render, physical reference, approved sample, or defined brief gives the development team a usable starting point. Clear visual priorities make the first sample more meaningful and reduce open-ended experimentation.
02-2. Ewin toys Meeting Real Manufacturing Intent

Real Manufacturing Intent

A planned commercial launch, sourcing project, supplier transfer, licensed product, retail program, or established merchandise program provides a stronger basis for support than a request made only to receive one free product.

Defined Quantity SKUs

Estimated production volume, quantity by SKU, character count, size variations, and planned launch waves help Ewin understand the production opportunity. No single quantity automatically guarantees approval, but undefined scope makes project evaluation difficult.
02-4 Ewin toys File Verifiable Company Project Confidential Projects Can Be Reviewed Carefully ..

Verifiable Company Project

Company name, business email, website, program background, and responsible contact help distinguish a commercial sourcing review from a consumer request. Confidential programs can follow NDA or controlled-file handling before full assets are shared.

Commercial Development Fit

Development effort should make sense relative to the likely production program. A standard plush using available materials is commercially different from a complex product requiring molds, electronics, specialty materials, or extensive validation.
Sample room Strategic Program Potentia

Strategic Program Potential

Multi-SKU collections, retailer launches, licensed programs, annual forecasts, second-source projects, and supplier transfers can justify deeper sample support because one prototype may lead into a larger controlled manufacturing program.

Some Projects Need a Different Commercial Route

Projects outside the qualified sample program can still be reviewed, but the development work may require normal sampling, engineering, tooling, or testing terms.

Personal One-Off Requests

The program is designed for commercial manufacturing evaluation, not individual gift orders or one-piece personal customization. Such requests do not provide enough production context to justify factory development resources under a free-sample route.

Undefined Concepts

An idea with no artwork, size direction, target use, quantity plan, or product brief may need paid concept development before a sample can be fairly evaluated. Free support is not intended for unlimited exploratory design.

Unauthorized IP

Ewin should not develop copies of protected characters, logos, or brand assets when the requesting party cannot establish a legitimate project route. Rights ownership or authorization may need clarification before sensitive development begins.

Heavy Tooling Projects

Custom molded PVC, silicone, electronic housings, special fixtures, proprietary hardware, or other tooling-intensive products can require non-recurring engineering costs before a representative sample is possible. Tooling scope is reviewed separately.

Repeated Speculation

Multiple speculative samples with changing direction, no production decision, or repeated new concepts are not the same as controlled revision work. Each new direction may require a separate development and commercial review.

Testing-Led Programs

Projects that require extensive external laboratory work, special protocols, electronic certification, or unique retailer testing may need a dedicated testing budget and sample quantity. Laboratory fees are not automatically included in free support.

Follow a Clear Free Sample Application Process

A sample request moves through project review, scope confirmation, development, internal inspection, and approval before it can become a manufacturing reference.

Submit Project Information Before Sample Approval

Start with the information Ewin needs to understand the manufacturing program: company details, artwork or reference files, target product type, approximate size, estimated quantity, SKU count, target market, channel, launch timing, and current project stage.

The first review determines whether the request is clear enough for feasibility assessment. A 20 cm character with one fabric and embroidered eyes requires a different development route from a 12 cm blind-box series with six SKUs, clothing, molded accessories, and retail packaging. Complexity, not just unit count, affects sample effort.

If the project is confidential, NDA requirements can be raised before sensitive files are transferred. If an existing supplier is involved, defect photos, BOM information, measurements, packaging files, or current samples can help Ewin understand what the new sample must improve or validate.

Submitting usable information first prevents a “free sample” request from becoming an undefined design exercise.

Review Feasibility and Sample Support Eligibility

Ewin reviews whether the product can be manufactured, what development work is needed, and which sample-support route fits the project. The review can cover character complexity, pattern difficulty, material availability, decoration, accessories, tooling, functional components, target market, packaging, and likely production program.

At this stage, Ewin can identify whether the project fits qualified free sample support, should begin with a normal sample fee that may later be credited, or requires separate tooling or testing costs. No work should start under an assumed “free” condition before the scope is confirmed.

The review also identifies missing inputs. A side view may be needed to resolve a character head. A special fabric may require sourcing. A magnet or electronic module may need a supplier specification. A custom box may need dimensions after the product shape is stabilized.

Clear eligibility protects both sides from changing commercial expectations later.

Confirm Scope Before Pattern and Material Work Starts

Before sample construction, the agreed sample objective should be written clearly. The team should know which product version is being developed, what the sample is expected to prove, which materials or processes are included, which items are provisional, and what is excluded.

Scope can cover target size, character priorities, fabric route, decoration, key accessories, filling, simple packaging review, revision expectations, shipping responsibility, and any tooling or laboratory work that needs separate approval. If the sample is intended to evaluate a second-source supplier, the required comparison points should also be identified.

Once scope is confirmed, pattern makers and sample staff can work toward a defined result instead of repeatedly interpreting changing instructions. The commercial route and technical route are therefore linked before labor and materials are consumed.

A clear scope also makes later revision responsibility easier to determine.

Develop, Inspect, Review, and Move Toward Production

Pattern development, material selection, sample sewing, decoration, filling, accessories, finishing, and internal QC are carried out against the agreed objectives. The sample is checked internally before shipment so obvious workmanship errors or missing components are not left for the client to discover.

Review comments should be converted into specific changes. Minor corrections can stay local; major changes to size, structure, material, function, or previously approved design direction may create a new development scope. When the sample reaches approval, it can move toward Golden Sample, BOM freeze, released pattern, final artwork, packaging specification, and production-readiness review.

The free-sample decision is therefore the first commercial gate, not the final goal. The value comes from using the sample to confirm whether Ewin should become the production partner for the program.

Send Enough Information for a Useful Sample Review

Better project inputs reduce assumptions, improve feasibility decisions, and help Ewin decide the right sample route before physical development begins.

Artwork Character Sheet

Front, side, back, expression, color, clothing, and signature-detail references help define what must remain visually accurate. One front view can start review, but missing geometry may need clarification before pattern development.
Ewin toys 3D Render We translate the design into a plush form direction

3D Render

A 3D render helps communicate volume, proportion, hair, accessories, and multiple angles. Ewin still needs to translate rigid geometry into soft patterns, seams, filling, support, attachment methods, and manufacturable materials.

Existing Sample

A physical sample is useful for second-source qualification, supplier transfer, resizing, cost review, quality correction, or controlled redevelopment. Measurements, defect photos, and known production problems make the comparison more useful.
03-04 Ewin toys Target Size Quantity SKU Plan

Target Size

Finished size affects pattern complexity, embroidery scale, accessory proportions, filling, packaging, and cost. Custom plush commonly ranges from about 8 cm to 100+ cm, while many character and merchandise projects fall between 10 and 40 cm.

Quantity SKU Plan

Estimated quantity by SKU, character count, colorways, size variations, and launch waves help Ewin evaluate development effort and production fit. A 3,000-piece single SKU is different from 3,000 pieces split across twelve characters.
03-06 Ewin toys Packaging Market Launch Plan

Market Launch Plan

Target market, sales channel, retailer requirements, launch date, and packaging expectations affect compliance planning, labeling, testing, pack-out, and sample priorities. The development route should match the commercial destination of the product.

Plush Product Types Available for Sample Evaluation

Each product format uses the sample to validate different risks, from facial fidelity and mini construction to weighted structures, hardware, modules, and retail packaging.

Character IP Plush

The sample verifies face, silhouette, proportion, pose, materials, color, clothing, and signature details. Licensed programs also benefit from controlled revision records so approved character changes remain traceable before production.

Mascot Plush

Mascot samples test brand proportions, logo treatment, uniforms, props, pose, and overall recognition. The sample can also reveal whether large graphic areas, clothing, or standing balance need engineering adjustments before scale-up.

Collectible Plush

Collectible samples emphasize premium materials, clean finishing, hidden seams, layered decoration, accessories, display posture, and packaging presentation. Series programs should also check whether several characters can share consistent quality standards.

Blind Box Plush

Mini and blind-box plush, often around 5-15 cm, require careful review of small facial features, seam allowance, accessory thickness, clothing, packaging fit, assortment coding, and whether important details remain readable after scaling down.
Ewintoys 04-05 Plush Keychains Plush Blue Whale Keychain Showcase-6

Plush Keychains

Keychain samples validate compact pattern construction, reinforced hanging points, rings or chains, hardware orientation, facial readability, abrasion exposure, and packaging. A good miniature sample should not distort when the hardware carries load.

Weighted Plush

Weighted samples verify internal bag design, weight placement, total mass, distribution, center of gravity, seam loading, closure, handfeel, and packaging. Weight should stay controlled rather than migrating into corners during handling.

Lifestyle Plush

Pillows, pouches, bags, hats, and other soft merchandise use sampling to check functional seams, zippers, linings, handles, graphics, filling, wash expectations, packaging, and whether plush materials support the intended everyday use.
Ewintoys 04-08 Electronic Functional Plush Plush Owl Workshop Prototype

Electronic Functional Plush

Sound, light, sensor, magnetic, or module-ready plush needs sample validation around cavities, access openings, padding, cable routes, fixing, hard-point control, assembly sequence, and the physical interface between electronics and the soft shell.

Sample Support for Commercial Product Teams

The program is designed around companies using samples to qualify manufacturing, close development questions, or reduce risk before a larger production commitment.

Global Brand Teams

Established brands can use the sample to verify product fidelity, material quality, communication, revision discipline, packaging readiness, and whether Ewin can transfer approval into a controlled production definition.

IP Owners

IP owners can evaluate character accuracy, confidential file handling, face and proportion control, material choices, approval discipline, and whether signature features survive the move from artwork into physical plush.

Licensing Companies

Licensing teams often need several approval layers. Sample versions, artwork revisions, color references, character-specific CTQs, and Golden Sample control help keep licensed changes visible before the product enters bulk production.

Toy Brands

Toy companies can use samples to review construction, materials, safety-related design decisions, packaging, cost, and scale-up risk together rather than approving appearance first and discovering production problems later.

Collectible Brands

Collectible programs can evaluate premium finish, series consistency, specialty materials, handwork, display pose, accessories, and retail packaging. The sample should show whether detail quality can be repeated across multiple characters.

Game Animation Studios

Studios can submit 3D renders, turnaround art, expression sheets, color guides, or existing merchandise references. Sampling tests how stylized digital geometry and costume detail translate into manufacturable soft products.

Retail Programs

Retail programs can use sample development to confirm product construction, labels, barcode placement, packaging, target-market considerations, carton logic, and repeat-order potential before launch quantities are committed.

Second Source Programs

Brands transferring suppliers can send existing samples, specifications, defect records, or packaging files. The sample becomes a direct qualification tool for fidelity, quality correction, cost, capacity, communication, and production-readiness comparison.

Fabric Sampling Shows More Than a Loose Swatch

A material should be judged on the finished product because pile, stretch, color, decoration, stuffing, seams, and shaping change how the fabric performs. CTA: Review Fabric Sample

Ewin toys 15-2 Minky Fabric 14

Minky

Short-pile Minky supports soft handfeel and clear facial detail. Sampling checks stretch, pile direction, color, embroidery behavior, seam pressure, filling volume, and whether the final surface stays smooth around high-visibility areas.
Ewin toys Velboa material (3)

Velboa

Velboa offers a flatter short pile that works well for crisp character shapes and decoration. The sample helps reveal whether the material is too thin for the structure or shows seam and internal pressure after filling.
Super Soft Plush

Super Soft Plush

Super-soft fabrics can create premium touch but may stretch differently from standard short pile. Sample review confirms pile, GSM, handfeel, embroidery compatibility, shape retention, and how the fabric changes the approved pattern volume.
Faux Fur

Faux Fur

Long pile supports animal realism, hair, or premium texture but can hide seams and fine embroidery. Sampling checks nap direction, pile length, trimming, brushing, seam visibility, shaping, and recovery after packaging compression.
Sherpa

Sherpa

Sherpa creates a textured cozy surface suited to lifestyle and character concepts. A sample shows how surface irregularity affects small decoration, edge bulk, turning, seam appearance, and the final silhouette.

Fleece

Fleece can be used for bodies, clothing, accessories, lining, or printed panels. Sampling checks stretch, print or embroidery behavior, seam performance, thickness, recovery, and whether the material suits the intended structure.

Stretch Fabric

Jersey and stretch knits are useful for fitted clothing and special panels. The sample confirms stretch direction, garment fit, embroidery stabilization, seam control, and whether printed graphics distort after assembly.
Specialty

Specialty Surface

PU, felt, tricot, mesh, coated fabrics, and other specialty materials can create armor, paws, clothing, accents, or functional zones. Sampling validates heat response, flexibility, edge treatment, adhesion, wear, and interaction with plush fabric.

Trims Are Checked Inside the Actual Sample Construction

Threads, linings, webbing, elastic, closures, and zippers may be visually minor, but they influence seam strength, fit, durability, assembly, and use.

Sewing Thread

Sample construction confirms whether thread color, strength, thickness, stitch formation, and abrasion behavior suit the fabric and seam load. The right thread should support the product without creating visible or stiff seam problems.

Linings

Linings can isolate filling, form internal bags, reinforce clothing, or protect module cavities. The sample checks weight, stretch, seamability, opacity, bulk, and whether the lining interferes with the intended handfeel.

Webbing

Webbing is common in straps, handles, hanging loops, and reinforced anchors. Sample review checks width, thickness, edge feel, fixing method, load path, and whether concentrated force distorts the plush body.
06-04 Elastic

Elastic

Elastic can support removable clothing and flexible openings. The sample verifies stretch range, recovery, seam method, fit, appearance, and whether repeated use makes the garment or accessory too loose.
06-05 Hook And Loop

Hook and Loop

Hook-and-loop closures support removable parts and access panels. Sampling checks holding force, edge exposure, scratching risk, pile interference, backing, and whether the closure remains easy to use.
06-06 Zippers

Zippers

Zippers can create removable covers, pockets, and module access. Sample review checks tape width, puller, opening length, seam support, hidden placement, access, and whether the zipper creates hard or bulky areas.

Accessories Must Prove Their Fit and Fixing Method

The sample should show how each accessory looks, attaches, carries load, affects balance, and interacts with soft materials before bulk components are committed.

Ewintoys 07-01 Plush Accessories Fit Guide Teddy Bear Craft Eye and Nose Showcase Plastic Eyes Noses

Plastic Eyes Noses

Sample review confirms shape, material, color, size, backing, position, post length, and retention. Facial components also affect head weight, expression, target age, internal pressure, and the physical tests that may apply.

Keychain Hardware

Rings, chains, clasps, cords, and loops are checked for finish, orientation, size, attachment route, reinforcement, and load. The sample should prove the anchor works without opening seams or distorting the character.

Metal Hardware

Buckles, snaps, clips, rivets, and rings can add function but also weight and hard contact. Sampling checks edge condition, plating, fixing, seam reinforcement, product balance, and metal-control implications.

Magnets

Magnetic plush requires sample confirmation of polarity, location, internal retention, spacing, interaction strength, and assembly order. The magnet should perform as intended without creating an uncontrolled hard point inside the plush.

PVC Silicone Parts

Molded badges, faces, feet, or decorative pieces can create precise detail. Sampling checks hardness, color, edge radius, weight, attachment, tooling quality, and whether the rigid component changes the surrounding soft shape.

Weighted Inserts

Pellets or bead bags are sampled for total weight, compartment strength, location, movement, center of gravity, seam loading, and tactile feel. The insert should remain where the design intends during handling and packing.

Electronic Modules

Sound, light, sensor, or smart modules need cavities, padding, access, wire routes, fixation, and assembly logic. Sampling checks physical integration while software or cloud functions remain within the relevant technology responsibility.

Removable Accessories

Hats, bags, props, clothing, and detachable pieces are checked for fit, retention, small-part risk, ease of removal, packaging arrangement, and whether repeated use damages the main plush surface.

Logo and Decoration Samples Confirm the Real Surface Result

Decoration should be approved on the intended fabric and finished construction because pile, stretch, seams, filling, and heat can change the visible result.

Embroidery

Embroidery sampling checks final size, position, thread color, stitch density, backing, puckering, pile coverage, symmetry, and handfeel. Facial embroidery should also be reviewed after sewing and stuffing because head volume can change apparent placement.
Ewin toys Screen Printing 0203

Screen Printing

Screen-print samples confirm spot color, registration, edge clarity, cure, surface feel, and compatibility with the chosen material. High-pile or irregular surfaces may require another route if the graphic cannot remain clean.
Ewintoys 08-03 Digital Printing Logo And Decoration 2

Digital Printing

Digital printing can support gradients and complex artwork. Sampling checks production substrate, base color, scale, print sharpness, color response, pile direction, cutting alignment, and whether the result survives later sewing and handling.
Ewintoys 08-04 Heat Transfer DTF Logo And Decoration.

Heat Transfer DTF

Transfer samples confirm temperature, pressure, film feel, flex, edge adhesion, gloss change, and whether heat affects the fabric surface. Garment graphics should also be reviewed after the clothing is sewn and fitted.
Ewintoys 08-05 Applique Logo And Decoration

Applique

Applique samples check cut accuracy, edge treatment, alignment, stitch route, bulk, and behavior on curved surfaces. It can be useful where long pile would hide direct embroidery or printing.

Ewintoys 08-06 Patches Labels Logo And Decoration

Patches Labels

Woven labels, embroidered patches, and badges are sampled for size, color, edge finish, stiffness, fixing, and location. The sample also confirms whether the mark remains readable without creating an uncomfortable hard area.

Packaging Samples Should Test the Finished Product

Packaging is reviewed against product shape, compression, protection, presentation, labeling, barcode needs, and channel requirements rather than treated as decoration added after approval.

Polybag Packing

A basic polybag sample checks size, seal, transparency, warning or ventilation needs where applicable, barcode location, compression, and whether the plush can recover its shape after being packed and unpacked.

Printed Bag

Printed bags combine protection with brand communication. Sampling checks material, graphics, zipper or seal, transparency, product visibility, compression, and whether the printed package remains attractive after handling.

Belly Band

Belly bands keep much of the plush visible while carrying brand information. A physical sample verifies band width, tension, artwork, legal copy, barcode location, and whether the band deforms the product.

Color Box

Color-box sampling checks internal clearance, windows, support inserts, orientation, barcode, graphics, accessory retention, and protection. The product should fit without damaging ears, hair, clothing, or molded components.

Gift Box

Premium gift packaging needs sample review for opening experience, insert design, accessory placement, product visibility, compression protection, and outer-carton efficiency. A beautiful box can still create excessive freight volume if not engineered carefully.

Blind Box Display

Blind-box projects need unit boxes, assortment control, display cartons, case packs, SKU coding, and product fit. Sampling confirms that character size and accessory layout work with the retail display system before printing quantities are committed.

Sample Stages Close Different Manufacturing Questions

Prototype, V1, revision, testing, PP, and Golden samples should be identified separately because each stage answers a different approval question.

Prototype and V1 Establish the Product Direction

A Prototype is used to explore concept, three-dimensional structure, silhouette, pose, balance, and basic manufacturability. Temporary materials or simplified details may be acceptable when the sample’s purpose is clearly recorded and the temporary choices are not mistaken for final production requirements.

V1 is the first formal attempt to translate the agreed product into a more complete physical version. Target fabrics, main colors, decoration, filling, primary accessories, and intended structure should be close enough for meaningful review. Internal QC should compare the sample with the current artwork and development objectives before shipment.

Neither stage automatically authorizes bulk production. Their value is to expose problems while the product remains open for correction. If the project receives free sample support, the same technical discipline still applies; “free” does not turn a prototype into an uncontrolled promotional item.

Revision and Testing Samples Validate Specific Changes

A Revision Sample should be driven by a clear comment list. Changes can cover proportions, measurements, pattern geometry, fabric, color, embroidery, print, filling, accessories, clothing, function, packaging, or other agreed points. Already approved areas should remain stable unless the revision creates a linked effect.

A Testing Sample serves a different purpose. It should represent the relevant final structure and BOM closely enough for the intended internal or third-party test. If a test requires a different material, attachment, component, or construction, the relationship to the final product must remain traceable.

Revision scope also defines commercial responsibility. Correcting an Ewin manufacturing error is different from changing the approved product direction. A request to enlarge the product, replace materials, add electronics, or introduce a new accessory can create new development work even if the earlier sample was supported without charge.

PP and Golden Prepare the Product for Production

The Golden Sample is the final approved physical reference for appearance, proportion, handfeel, filling, clothing, decoration, component placement, finishing, and presentation. It should be identified by Project ID, SKU, revision, approval status, pattern revision, frozen BOM, and current artwork.

A PP Sample verifies whether the frozen product can be reproduced using intended bulk materials, processes, labels, packaging, and production conditions. If PP reveals a problem requiring a design or material change, the change should return through controlled approval instead of being silently corrected on the production line.

Bulk release happens when the physical reference and production data describe the same product. The sample program therefore ends with manufacturing readiness, not merely with approval of one attractive plush.

Sample Timing Depends on Project Complexity

Ewin confirms timing after requirements, material readiness, and development scope are clear because one advertised number cannot represent every custom plush project.

09-01 Ewintoys Sample Timing Depends On Project Complexity Standard Plush

Standard Plush

Simple animals, straightforward mascots, common short-pile fabrics, available colors, and limited decoration normally follow the shortest development route. Timing starts when usable requirements are confirmed, not when an incomplete inquiry first arrives.
09-02 Ewintoys Sample Timing Depends On Project Complexity Character IP Plush

Character IP Plush

Distinctive head shapes, tight facial fidelity, clothing, several fabrics, embroidery, accessories, and approval layers require more pattern and revision work. Custom colors or components can also add sourcing time before a representative sample is possible.

Complex Functional Plush

Weighted structures, long-pile styling, magnets, molded parts, electronics, special internal construction, or custom packaging require additional validation. Ewin reviews structure, suppliers, tooling, testing implications, and material readiness before confirming a dependable schedule.

Sample Quality Is Reviewed Before External Approval

A qualified sample should be checked against the current project definition so external review focuses on meaningful decisions instead of avoidable workmanship mistakes.

Approved Samples Must Become Controlled Bulk Production

The sample creates real commercial value when its approved decisions are transferred into Golden Sample, controlled specifications, production files, QC references, and repeatable manufacturing.

Move From an Approved Sample to a Controlled Product Definition

A sample marked “approved” still cannot tell production everything it needs to know. Ewin converts approval into a controlled product definition where the physical sample is linked to Project ID, SKU, revision, pattern, materials, decoration files, measurements, filling, accessories, labels, packaging, and quality requirements.

Comments are closed before freeze. A material or component should not be changed silently after approval because a substitution can alter color, handfeel, sewing, testing, balance, cost, or packaging. If a justified change is required, the affected files and sample status should move together.

The Golden Sample becomes the physical reference, while the BOM and released files define details that cannot be seen from the outside. This combination protects the product from becoming “whatever looks close to the sample” once production begins.

Sample approval therefore becomes a manufacturing system, not a photograph stored in an email thread.

Release Production From Golden, BOM, Pattern, and Current Files

Before bulk production, the manufacturing team should receive the Factory Golden or QC Reference, frozen BOM, released pattern, final embroidery or print files, measurement specification, filling references, accessory fixing details, label and packaging specifications, approval evidence, and relevant quality or testing instructions.

IQC then checks incoming materials and components against the approved specification. IPQC checks cutting, decoration, sewing, assembly, filling, and finishing during production. FQC compares finished products with the Golden reference. OQC confirms final SKU, packaging, barcode, carton, appearance, and shipment release requirements.

If a free sample was used to qualify Ewin, the commercial question is ultimately whether the approved product can survive this transfer into production. The strongest sample program ends with a repeatable manufacturing definition and a clear route for later reorders.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Free sample support is conditional and confirmed after project review. Some projects receive approved support; others use normal development fees with possible production-order credit under agreed commercial terms.

Projects with clear inputs, genuine manufacturing intent, verifiable company information, defined production potential, and commercially suitable development scope are stronger candidates. No single order quantity automatically guarantees approval.

Not automatically. International express freight and special courier requirements are reviewed separately. Shipping responsibility, carrier method, account use, and sample destination should be confirmed before dispatch.

Not automatically. Plastic or silicone molds, dedicated fixtures, electronic housings, proprietary hardware, and other non-recurring tooling are reviewed separately because cost depends on the final structure.

Normally no. External testing depends on market, age grade, materials, structure, electronics, and client protocols. Laboratory route, sample quantity, timing, and cost should be confirmed separately.

Yes, where approved commercial conditions are met. Part or all of an agreed development fee may be credited toward bulk production based on the project and final commercial agreement.

Revision scope is agreed by project rather than promised as unlimited. Minor corrections and Ewin-responsibility remakes differ from major changes to size, material, structure, function, or approved direction.

When a clear manufacturing error falls within Ewin’s agreed responsibility, the priority is to correct and remake the affected sample without charging again for the same agreed requirement.

Timing depends on complexity, materials, custom colors, components, decoration, tooling, testing needs, and revision scope. Ewin confirms the development window after requirements are complete enough for execution.

Yes. Existing samples, BOMs, measurements, packaging files, and defect photos are useful for supplier transfer, second-source qualification, cost review, quality correction, resizing, or controlled redevelopment.
